We challenged them to look ahead: Which breakthroughs will transform our streets? How will green innovation and smarter infrastructure reshape daily travel? And, ultimately, how can mobility make city life safer, cleaner, and more vibrant? Their responses, candid and sometimes surprising, revealing a sector that is maturing, less dazzled by hype, more focused on interoperable systems, measurable impact, and user delight. Here, we bring you a snapshot of their answers to one key question:
What are you most looking forward to at and around the IAA 2025 in Munich?

Johann Georg von Hülsen
CRO, SENEC GmbH Leipzig
"Inspiring encounters and innovations that demonstrate how rapidly the transformation of mobility is progressing. Impulses for collaboration between industry, cities, and energy providers – a necessity for holistic solutions to mobility, energy, and climate challenges. And of course, the excitement of seeing the latest developments in the automotive industry – and maybe even taking a test drive or two – because deep down, I’m still just a regular little boy at heart."

Alexander Buk
Managing Director of SEAT & CUPRA Germany
"The personal interaction. The IAA is a significant industry gathering that offers a valuable opportunity to gain new inspiration, deepen existing connections, and establish new partnerships. It is always inspiring to see so many committed people from the world of mobility in one place. And, of course, I am particularly looking forward to CUPRA's appearance – we will once again be setting another highlight this year. Anyone who knows CUPRA knows: With us, you can expect the unexpected."

Stefanie Berliner
Head of DACH, Holo
"It’s not a full mobility expo yet – but the shift is tangible. I love seeing how players from different sectors are starting to come together. That breaking down of silos is where the real potential lies. And of course: reconnecting, exchanging ideas – and enjoying a few good coffees along the way."

Daniela Odesser
Founder & Managing Partner of Dani O. Communication, Munich
"I look forward to an honest dialogue, one that leads to concrete solutions for urban mobility that finally puts people at the center again, rather than the traditional car. Munich is a prime example of an overburdened metropolitan area: constant traffic jams, overpriced parking garages, a lack of available parking, public transportation that many can no longer afford, and a cycling infrastructure that is neither safe nor comprehensive.
What’s missing are bold, inclusive concepts for truly functional coexistence, instead of yet more isolated measures that only address symptoms. I hope that IAA Mobility 2025 will not only showcase new products, but also offer new perspectives, and that mobility in the city will once again become both functional and livable."
