Looking at the new Audi Concept C, the first thing that stands out is its overall geometry. Large, uninterrupted surfaces and defined volumes give the body a distinct shape. The vertical front frame sets the tone, establishing the car’s stance, while the rear features a four-element light signature that punctuates the profile. Each line, panel, and transition appears carefully positioned, creating a sense of structure that guides the eye along the car’s silhouette.

Material choices are a key part of the concept’s story. Satin-finished titanium panels form the majority of the exterior, chosen for their strength and weight efficiency. Seams, joints, and transitions are functional, aligning with aerodynamic and cooling requirements. Openings for air intake and other technical elements are integrated rather than applied afterward, giving the car a sense of cohesion and purpose.

"With our design philosophy, we aim to reinforce the Audi brand, making it desirable and culturally relevant."
- Massimo Frascella, Chief Creative Officer, AUDI AG

The proportions of the car reflect high-performance priorities. A low body, wide track, and extended wheelbase provide stability, while the compact cockpit supports optimal weight distribution. The layout of the lights, grille, and body details emphasizes structural logic and performance considerations, making the vehicle readable at a glance.

While the Concept F1 presents a clear picture of Audi’s new design philosophy, a closer look could trigger a certain thought. Certain aspects of its silhouette - particularly the roofline, proportions, and the arrangement of the rear volumes - offer a slight resemblance to the Jaguar Type 00. It’s not a direct copy, but the similarities are noticeable enough. For a concept framed as “radically new,” these echoes of an existing design add an intriguing layer to the story, enough to raise eyebrows.
